Appearance: He has white, tanned skin, stands 6 feet tall and is broad of shoulder. He is muscular and well toned at around 195 lbs. He has a bald head with a sandy blonde beard that he keeps medium length, but well groomed. He has spells and wards tattooed on both arms, down his back and on his chest. Multiple battle scars and two large scars on his inner thighs from riding Azimov, his dragon. Large scar on front and back of left shoulder from a sword wound. And strange purple-ish swirl on his chest (small and faded, but hard to miss) from being sucked through a portal. Patches of translucent white scales with small flecks on his shoulder blades, outside of his arms, his chest, knees and his feet. Purpled gums from dragonsbane stalks and leaves. His eyes are blue with hints of green and gold.
When he is in battle he wears full Dragon Scale Plate armor. While it is not indestructible, it is near impervious to magic and very strong. It almost completely covers him from head to toe, leaving very few weak spots, it is also a very light armor for its size. It is enchanted to take on the shape and form of the wearer so as to fit him when he transforms. His silvery-white armor glimmers in the sun with the hue of the rainbow. When not in battle regalia he wears leather armor over thick, clothing. Each piece is accented with gold embroidery.

*Alternate form appearance: Infected with a degenerative disease from dragon saliva, he is a rare case that can actually transform into a quasi-drake or Drakkin. The progression of the disease is slowed by the use of dragonsbane. Kale must retain control at all times or lose his humanity to the disease. He is able to transform on command, but it is a battle to remain himself and not become a Drakkin for good and he prefers not to do it. When he does lose control he must quickly catch himself and regain control. He resembles a dragon in almost every way except he stands upright and retains an almost human-like form and he lacks wings. He gains muscle mass (about 150 lbs of extra muscle) and his patches of scales turn a brilliant silvery white and completely cover his body . His strength, speed, agility and magical talents are amplified, however, he must constantly retain control when in this stage or lose himself.

History: Trained by Rin Garf'don as a priest and warrior. Rin had once been a mercenary for hire. His skill was told of throughout the nations and he fought in many wars. His career ended when he fell in love with a merchant's daughter. He lost his lust for battle when he met her. They lived happily for two years before she was killed. The assassins were meant for him as revenge for a past deed. He came home to his wife murdered and two assassins awaiting his return. He was so filled with rage that he killed both of them in a matter of second, with only his bare hands. In his despair he turned to magic to bring her back, but after many years he failed to find a way. By then he had resigned himself to his studies. Even in his old age he was quick and strong, and a great teacher to Kale. Once his master died he trained with any warrior that could best him and any mage that would teach him. During that time he learned many fighting styles and tactics. While he was adept at most forms of physical combat, his natural magical abilities only extended to manipulating light. He studied intensely to learn Arcane magic and other forms of magic, but still struggles with most of them. His skill quickly rose, both physically and magically, and he took to following his master's footsteps, but didn't enjoy it as his master had. He would only kill in defense or on rare occasions when the need arose. He much preferred the art of healing and defending the weak.  He was hired to fight a war in the far north and had been sent in to reinforce a small mountain stronghold and hold the line. During the journey a blizzard separated him from his group and he ended up wandering the mountains. As he trudged through the fields of snow and ice he heard a roar in the distance. At first he dismissed it as the howling of the storm, but it continued to grow in strength. When he finally reached the source of the noise he saw four men that had pinned an adolescent dragon against the face of a glacier. The dragon's right wing had been hobbled and its hide was covered in cuts and wounds. The men were attempting to kill the dragon but it fought them off as best it could. Kale couldn't stand the sight of them torturing the creature and rushed at the men despite his exhaustion. He slew one of the men before the others knew what was going on. One was crushed by the young dragon while Kale dispatched the others. He wasn't without injury, one of the men had cut his side, but the wound wasn't as bad as it should have been, however, his shoulder had been pierced through. The exhaustion and his wounds were too much for him to bare and he collapsed in the snow. The last thing he saw was the dragon walking towards him. He awoke several hours later, surprised to be alive and even more surprised to be warm. As he looked around and began to stir he was suddenly faced with a large eye opening. There was no malice in that eye, only gratitude. The dragon had known what Kale had done for him, and the cost. Using its wing as shelter, the heat of the dragon had kept Kale alive and his wounds had been healed. However, in licking Kale's wounds and healing them, Kale was infected with a degenerative disease carried in dragon saliva. Back on his feet again, he began is journey back to civilization. He had believed the dragon to gone its own way until the second night of his journey when we spied a shadow circling him from above. It wasn't until the fifth night that he was certain it was the same dragon when it landed and followed him on foot. He named the dragon Azimov, or rather he somehow knew that to be his name, and they became inseparable. While he couldn't comprehend Azimov at first, they grew to understand eachother. Kale soon learned to communicate with Azimov with words, feeling, and even thoughts. They were connected in a way Kale didn't understand, almost as if Azimov could read his mind. Through Azimov Kale learned to craft weapons and armor from dragon scales, bones, and teeth; a craft that had long been forgotten.

*Extra: Friendly and always close to a smile. He loves to help others and to make them happy. He loves to talk, but occasionally withdraws into himself. Will often talk to himself. While in combat he is a different person. He is extremely focused and calm and ends battles quickly, usually in a few seconds. He prefers to immobilize his opponents over killing them as he doesn't have a blood lust. He does, however, love battle and any chance to test his skill and better himself. He loves to fly with Azimov and to be high up. While he is commonly revered by people of many nations, he doesn't like the fame and prefers to give others credit whenever possible.

Abilities: He uses a combination of magic and combat when fighting, tending to augment is attacks with small explosions of light that amplify the hit. Out of combat he a skilled flyer, riding his dragon Azimov around.

Weaknesses: He has no real stomach for killing and attempts to avoid it whenever possible. He knows that killing and death are inevitable but he prefers not to take part. There are times when he knows it is impossible not to kill and knows what he must do, but he takes no enjoyment from it and does it as painlessly as he can.
The pain he experiences while transforming into a Drakkin and after turning back into a human is almost crippling and is excruciatingly painful. It isn't as bad as it once was, but on bad days it will still render him unconscious. while transformed he must retain concentration at all times.
Also, because of his infection he must always medicate with dragonsbane by either drinking, smoking, smelling or ingesting it. Without it the disease progresses farther. He needs to medicate a minimum of 2-3 times a day, preferring to do it more.

Magic: He is skilled in healing arts and the manipulation of light. When battling with light he commonly uses it to blind opponents or to actually burn them. He channels his magic through Dawn Bringer to cause small explosions of light whenever he strikes something or someone, giving him more hitting power. While he is quite powerful he much prefers to heal and defend the weak.

Other: Mount- Dragon-Azimov: While still a juvenile, Azimov is already a large dragon. While he is very lean and snake-like, he is also very powerful. He appears to be the last of his kind as Kale has never seen another Imperial Dragon in all his travels. Azimov is roughly 80 feet from snout to tail and 25 feet from foot to haunches. His wings connect to his front legs, folding up at the wrists when on all fours. His wingspan is in excess of 160 feet. His hind legs have three long claws, two forward facing and the third acts as an opposable thumb. His front legs only have two claws, both forward facing. His body is very thin, widening at the chest before tapering back off. His ears are small holes accented by spines connected by membranes that fan backwards down his neck. His eyes are very large and golden, during the day his pupils resemble that of a cat, but at night they dilate, making them almost completely black. Above his eyes are small ridges that resemble spikes, but are much smaller. He has four horns growing out of the back of his skull, the top ones grow upwards while the bottom branch off, the lower branch curves down and towards the jaw while the top branch grows straight backwards. He has a rounded tongue that is very thin and long. He has hundreds of teeth in his mouth, both cutting and grinding teeth. Much like a shark he constantly loses and grows new teeth rapidly. While his horns and claws also grow back, they do so at a slower rate, however, they are also much harder to break. After a bone/tooth/claw/horn is removed they slowly begin to harden and eventually become virtually indestructible. Dragon scales are similar in much the same way. They are only malleable for a short period of time before they become much harder than steel and resistant to magic. As he grows older he will grow much larger. When he is matured a gemstone will begin to protrude from his skull between his eyes.

Weapons: Weapons- Dragon Bone Warhammer- Dawn Bringer: A virtually indestructible warhammer made from the bone of a dragon. It is roughly three feet long. As Azimov and Kale soared overhead a dark shadow descended on them. An extremely vicious and territorial mountain dragon attacked them, forcing them from the sky. While the mountain dragon was larger than Azimov, he was much quicker. With elegant acrobatic maneuvers Azimov twisted through the air and clamped on to the mountain dragon's back. With its wings pinned it was unable to do anything as Azimov bit down and severed the spinal cord of the great dragon. During the fight the beast's right talon was severed. Kale recovered the bone and carved Dawn Bringer from it. Kale carved runes and enchanted Dawn Bringer to allow him to channel magic through it.
Weapons- Heartwood Bow- Khej'ral: Kale's first real weapon after being pulled through the portal into Ashria. It was a gift from his master. His master had accidentally pulled him from his world while trying to summon a spirit. After nursing him back to health his master, Rin "Light Barer" Garf'don, saw the potential for him to be a great priest. He began teaching him and training him in combat. Kale was slow to learn at first, but once he started to pick it up he was a natural. Khej'ral had been Rin's bow as a young man and had meant much to him, but Kale had been like a son to him. He gave it Kale after falling ill as a "thank you" for bringing meaning back to his life. Kale stayed by his master's side until the very end. When he died a small orb of light floated from his parted lips and was absorbed into Khej'ral. The wood of the bow writhed like snakes before falling still. the bow has magical properties that even Kale has yet to discover.
Weapon¬- Dragon Shield- Light Barer: Created from the shoulder blade of a recently dead dragon it is carved and very ornate and matches Dawn Bringer in design. It is inlaid with dragonscales and runes to protect the wearer. Kale named his shield after his master because his shield protects him just as his master had once protected him.

This is (hopefully) my new character for the Land of War RP. He is much easier to RP with because he is MUCH MUCH MUCH more personable.
